My time on the west coast is 2/3rd's past and I'm a little sad. I feel it ending and my relaxation and vacation with it. Soon I'll be trading the fresh, cold air and scenic snow covered mountains for skills testing, papers, midterms, lectures and classes, mountains and mountains of classes. This week I am celebrating. My sweetie is treating me to a couple days hitting the slopes. The good news is that I will have ample internet to upload my favorite images. Today I'm highlighting a birthday/Christmas gift from my brothers super sweet girlfriend from Indiana. She knows about winters and got me these socks. I love them. They are the best birthday/Christmas gift, besides the trip itself.
They are so warm and reach the knee, so they are the perfect fit in my snowboard boots. They are soft and compress in the right spots to help with circulation. Also, there equipped with antimicrobial aspects that help fight the funk if you wear them a couple of days in a row (which I do). This morning I put them on and was reminded how amazing it feels to ride fresh powder and focus on skills, progressing an activity that I've fallen in love with.
